Alexandra Roulet is a professor of economics at INSEAD. She is attached to the Chair within the framework of a project on social mobility in France.
She’s a former student of the École Normale Supérieure, she then pursued her doctorate in economics at Harvard University. Her research focuses on the effects of unemployment insurance and the effect of job loss on health. She also published with Philippe Aghion, Angus Deaton and Ufuk Akcigit an article on the link between Schumpeterian growth and subjective well-being. She also co-authored with Philippe Aghion a book published by Seuil in 2011: Rethinking the State: For a Social Democracy of Innovation.
